CYM Logo
CYM is a strategy of the Center. To date, over 100 sites from around the country and 3 international sites have committed to the CYM process. As a result of our work since 1995, the Center has created a CYM Guide and Toolkit and a national Community Youth Mapping web site to serve local communities.
The goal of the Afterschool.org and Promising Practices in After School Initiative is to increase the quality and quantity of after-school programs by identifying and promoting organizational and interpersonal practices that support social, emotional, cognitive, physical and cultural outcomes for school-age children and youth.
Transformational Education (TED) is a comprehensive educational approach that creates an environment which appreciates the strengths and talents and develops the potential of adolescents by responding to the needs of young adults who are not well-served by traditional public schools.
