About the Center for Youth Development and Policy Research

The Center for Youth Development and Policy Research (the Center) is a national capacity-building intermediary that seeks to create and strengthen the infrastructures that support the positive development of all youth in America. Established in 1990 at the Academy for Educational Development in Washington, DC, the Center's fundamental approach is to work with local, state and national partners in order to help build and invest in a youth development infrastructure, which includes data collection and analysis, capacity and community-building and educational issues.
