About the Center for Youth Development and Policy Research (the Center)

The Center for Youth Development and Policy Research is a national capacity-building intermediary that seeks to create and strengthen the infrastructures that support the positive development of all youth in America . Established in 1990 at the Academy for Educational Development in Washington , DC , the Center's fundamental approach is to work with local, state and national partners in order to help build and invest in a youth development infrastructure, which includes data collection and analysis, capacity and community-building and educational issues.
